Located within Brookfield Place in Calgary, Alberta, Jusu Bar is a custom kiosk concept designed for a compact commercial footprint within a larger retail environment. SWDG provided both the interior design and building permit drawings, transforming an open leased space into a fully realized café and retail destination. The design centred around a custom feature wall and extended service counter that established the foundation of the space, creating a strong visual anchor while carefully guiding customer flow. Retail displays were strategically integrated along the customer journey, allowing customers to browse products as they move through the space while reducing congestion within the compact footprint. Rather than relying on the bright green palette commonly associated with juice bars, the design embraced warm wood tones, rich natural materials, and a refined finish palette to create a more sophisticated and enduring brand experience. The result is a distinctive environment that maximizes every square foot while balancing operational efficiency with a memorable customer experience.
