Byng Street Residence is a custom new-build home in Victoria, British Columbia. SWDG provided both the interior design and building permit drawings, creating a cohesive vision inspired by the timeless character of European vineyard estates. Exposed wood beams, wood windows with substantial wood trim, character-
rich wood flooring, and a stone fireplace establish a warm and authentic foundation throughout the home. Carefully selected materials and finishes, including tile inspired by the look and texture of Venetian plaster, bring depth and craftsmanship to each space. Rooted in old-world design principles, the home balances rustic elegance with modern comfort, creating an atmosphere that feels collected, inviting, and enduring.
