Westdowne Road Residence is a full interior and exterior renovation of a private residence in Victoria, British Columbia. Originally designed by architect John Di Castri in 1960, the home provided a unique opportunity to reinterpret a mid-century modern residence for contemporary family living. SWDG reconfigured the layout to better support modern lifestyles while thoughtfully preserving the home’s architectural character through updated materials, finishes, and detailing. The result is a cohesive and timeless home that honours its origins while meeting the needs of today’s family.
